New Realtor-ese: “Clever storage space”
Okay, I’m kinda used to the code-talk double-talk of realtors where “cozy” means “small” and “fixer-upper” means “money pit.”
But today while getting my espresso fix at Flipnotics, I noticed a flyer left on the counter and the one phrase describing the nearby town home that jumped out at me was, “clever storage space.”
“Clever storage space?” I said aloud, amused.
“Maybe it talks to you,” the barista offered.
Yeah, a clever storage space could probably give you advice about storage even:
- “You put that in here and you know you’ll never get it out again.”
- “You’re gonna need that pretty soon — better keep it out.”
- “I’d pack those glasses in something sturdier if I were you.”
- “Who are you kidding? You’ll never use/wear that again — sell it or dump it!”
Now that I think about it — I could use some clever storage space.
